Kendall County Municipal Construction

Harbour provided the Kendall County Sheriff’s Department with a new, state-of-the-art public safety complex to service the people of Kendall County. The complex includes a police station, courthouse, and an adult jail facility that houses 90 individual cells and has since been expanded in 2005 to house an additional 90 cells.

Harbour Succeeds in Phase I and II

After the success of project phase I, Harbour felt right at home when returning to the recently completed Kendall County Public Safety Center in Yorkville, Illinois, to start the addition to the jail facility. The previously successful Harbour team jumped in and attacked the aggressive schedule and budget while also exceeding the goals set forth for them, completing the facility on time and within budget. The Kendall County construction project included the addition of 90 cells housed within 50,000 SF.

Once again, construction management with a guaranteed maximum price contract was selected for the building’s addition, and our client walked away with an excellent, cost-effective facility exceeding their needs.
